OBERLAND

Our family has had a lifelong passion and commitment to purebred dogs.  We are a Permanently Registered Kennel with the Canadian Kennel Club and members of the Spanish Water Dog Club of America, the Skaha Kennel Club and the Canadian Kennel Club.

We shared our lives with Bernese Mountain Dogs since the early 1980's; and during that time, actively participated in many facets of the breed including breeding, conformation and drafting.  Wanda is a CKC licensed Draft judge and Canine Good Neighbour evaluator.  She has judged Sweepstakes and Drafting at several Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Canada National Specialties and continues to be actively involved in training and judging drafting in Canada.

After the loss of our last Bernese Mountain Dog, we spent  time searching for a breed which would be appropriate to this new stage of our lives; and after much research, consultation and travel, have chosen the Spanish Water Dog.

We are currently constructing this new website to highlight our dogs and share our passion with fellow enthusiasts and prospective new owners.  Please visit frequently as we populate and update this site.
